There are other comments, setup for wireless printing worked flawlessly on the first attempt using Mac OS 10.14.xxx. It is appropriate for photo printing, but not that purpose. On the highest settings, this works very well for text and graphics. I decided to purchase a laser printer because I was tired of replacing inkjet cartridges that dry out between infrequent uses. I had no issues whatsoever, and the quality is outstanding.

The setup is very easy once I connected the printer to my wifi and downloaded the software to my laptop, I was printing wirelessly from downstairs with the printer on the 2nd floor of my home. I use it for both working at home and personal use. I appreciate the detail and color rendition. I am unfamiliar with another review that states the print quality is poor compared to those of Apple products. It took me less than 30 seconds for a MacBook to discover a printer on my WiFi network. I probably did not have to go through HP to set it up. I wanted a wireless option to print directly from my iPad without going through my IMac.

Oddly, HP stopped providing drivers for OS X, which made the old printer unusable. I received this item to replace my old HP Color Laser 3600 printer. I'm happy that we made this purchase, despite my only complaint so far about the size of the machine. This makes printing from a phone or a guest computer seamless. I am satisfied with the product, as well as the ability to easily convert it to a printer on my work computer and the ability to send documents to a dedicated email address and have them print flawlessly. The document took around ten seconds to print. Our older printer takes about three minutes to print the first page after waking from standby. It costs around 12-15 cents for a color toner. If three thousand prints were sold for $400, then you would be paying 13.333 cents for toner. The high yield cartridges are good for over 3000 prints. If you print photos, charts, and such, you will most likely receive 200 prints. Besides the included starter set, it's adequate for about 500 copies. Thus, a set of colors would cost $100 more than the cost of a printer. The larger color options cost approximately $100. The printer also supports envelope printing. It inserts a bypass in a slot in the front. It is more legal and smaller on the bypass. Even though the gradients are difficult, the quality is awesome. We are replacing a much larger printer with this one. The turnaround from sending an email to printing took approximately thirty seconds. I found the attached pictures were cropped. I printed the attached file and read the text in an easy way. Maximum of ten meg total and ten attachments. You'll receive an HP email print address, and send an email so that the printer prints it. My tablet phone and my local network print wirelessly. We initially searched for a driver, but it did not work.

We had to manually download a driver on the Windows 7 machine.

On my Windows ten machine everything was automatically. Wi-Fi rely on 2.4GHz, but it's fast enough to operate. You can also use WiFi, but our router is mounted eight feet up on the wall. The entire setup was letting it scan the network and entering my password. I repeated hitting two or three letters at a time. It took me a few attempts to enter my WiFi password. I have a small complaint when the keyboard is active. The small screen tilts up and holds any angle between flat and vertical. It is rather clever because it is a balanced product. You will notice hand grips are offset at the base when you have it home. It reminds me of printers from 20 years ago.
